PROPERTY MAINTENANCE 

As a Property Maintenance Code Official, I am authorized to enforce provisions of the International Property Maintenance Code or Municipal Ordinances. The official has the authority to render interpretations of these codes and adopt policies and procedures in order to clarify the applications. The code official shall make inspections deemed necessary by local officials assure written reports and violations of the code. Examples of violations can be unsafe structures, unsafe equipment such as furnaces, electrical wiring, vermin-infested structures, accumulation of garage/junk on properties, any sign of imminent danger on properties. The property maintenance code will be enforced according to the policies of each individual township/borough.
